My daughter loved the pool and the restaurant is ok. We could see the dolphins from our balcony which was nice.
The bathroomfloor was wet and slippery al the time because of bad plumming. Although I mentioned this at the reception, no action was taken at all. A dvd player was promised, but not in the room. I asked for one at the reception, but it wasn't brought to us. The mosquito nets were broken and the bathroom was not clean. The atmosphere was a bit outdated and not so nice as the pictures looked on the internet, so no good value for money. We felt sorry animals in the little zoo, especially the monkey who is lonely and had a strap on his neck in a cage that was too little for him. Swimming with the dolphins was a bit of a dissapointment, (about 60 euros for me and my daughter) We had only 10 minutes with an other family in the pool, and the dolphins were tired of alle the tourists I think, they did not react to us at all.

I like the dolphins
The room was very poor. I got the president suite, but it was really bad. Water heater didn't operate well, I only got 1 towel, no hair-cap. The air condition was soooo noisy, the bed was not good. The foods was also bad. I don't want to stay at this hotel anymore, especially with the price. I was expecting 3 stars hotel with that price, but for me the hotel is like non star hotel.

Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Kids loved the dolphin swims
The shower head in my room number 3 was not very good. Huge shower head but no water coming out of it. They could promote activities in the area a lot better. Only found out about the day trips to the national park to go snorkelling on the last day but it was too late. Not a lot of Australians know about swimming with dolphins. We just stumbled across it because my friend had visited the area previously.

The animalpark is good and it is brilliant with the dolphins in the pools. The rooms are rustic and lovely. The staff except one is very good and friendly.
It costs 400.000 RP to swim with the dolphins and 25.000 RP to get your picture taken with the dolphin. Worst of all though is one specific waiter in the restaurant. He is absolutely obnoxious and very innoying trying to sell trips and while you eat at the restaurant which by the way has very poor food. The included American breakfast is a joke consisting off cold pancakes and 2 boild eggs and toast with jam. The dinner was the worst i tried in bali all together, very dry food. Finaly there were no DVD player in the rooms as the hotel facilities suggest. There is internet which cost 50.000 RP pr hour. Instead go to the internet cafe in Lovina center, it cost 15.000 pr hour.

Lovina is famous for dolphin tour. The reason I choose Melka is only for the attraction of dolphin and they have other animal as well. My children very excited to see the dolphin show in hotel and see the animal (snake, crocodiles, and we can feeding the animals also)
We booked Suite Room but we dissapointed because it's small and the light is very limited. The hotel situation is also dark and need more extra light..... The room is not worth with the money I paid :( Towel is not really clean and the bathroom is not good also (the water is still in the bathub and during my husband taking shower suddenly the wator off). The price for dolphin tour in sea via hotel is expensive so we booked directly to the person in the beach for dolphin tour.

The lovable dolphins , but it is too expensive 45 usd for 20 min swimming with them. The people working there are very good persons each of them - excellent staff . keep on with them!
There is not safety box in the suite room and you have to go to the reception to have one! There where not enough towels but they brought some to us immediately as soon as we asked for them! So no complaints!

Pleasant place for gardens with animals, swimming pools and especially the dolphins. Swimming with dolphins has been a great experience for our son of 13. Large breakfasts. Nice staff and kindly welcomme.
Services and facilities need to be improve on several points : cleanless of the bathroom and we needed to request for bath towels every day. Otherwise good place for the price we had to paid and we would recommend this hotel.
